I became a River Heights Chamber member in December
2005 because I was trying to build my financial planning
business in the Inver Grove Heights area. At that time,
I did not fully understand the impact my Chamber
involvement was going to have on my business and life.
I started by getting involved with the Ambassadors group
and the IGH Local Issues group. I also attended many
business card exchanges and started to attend a
ChamberNet group. These various events put me in
front of many other business people and I started to
become involved with their personal networks outside of
the Chamber. It was directly because of my Chamber
involvement that my business has grown and I have

Grove Heights as was the product and service I was providing. I immediately
became involved with the River Heights Chamber of Commerce, I recognized
